How You Can Lose Credibility on Zoom—and What You Can Do About It
If you make business presentations online–whether you’re an executive, corporate trainer, or subject matter expert such as a lawyer, economist, or policy advocate–you want to be perceived as being credible.
When we make presentations online, subconsciously people expect us to look like the experts they see on TV. If we don’t, it can diminish our credibility. We can have great content, but if we don’t come across as experts we lose impact.
I’ll be presenting on the research that shows how we can increase our perceived authenticity and competence through our use of camera, framing, lighting, microphone, background, posture, non-verbal cues, clothing, and more.
My session is at the ATD coast-to-coast virtual conference on August 12 at 2:15 PM HST. Find out more here
